Annual Fish Fry
We would like to thank all the people who helped and or supported our fish fry that we had this past Saturday. We served approximately 4,000 people with 3,000 pounds of Fish and 250 pounds of Chicken. As always, we also had French Fries, Cupcakes and Cole Slaw. The outpour of community support is as always overwhelming and events like this would never be a success without the help from our community.
Training Update
Chris Lord and Lee Yoder are the newest members of the Shipshewana Fire Department to have completed and passed the Firefighter 1 and 2 and Hazmat Awareness and Operations training to be full members of the Shipshewana Fire Department. These class had begun last November and finished up this April. Thanks to all the instructors Aaron Lehman, Nathan Miller, Darin Hochstetler, Ervin Schwartz, Daryl Chupp and firefighters with the Shipshewana Fire Department that made it possible to complete this class.
